smartseo.cc ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered SEO content automation platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

Account information you provide directly: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).

Website data you connect: the URLs, page content, and metadata of websites you add for crawling and SEO analysis, and any publishing credentials (e.g. WordPress application passwords) you provide, which we store encrypted at rest.

Usage data: keywords you research, articles you generate, and basic product analytics needed to operate and improve the service.

To operate the core product — crawling your website, generating content with AI providers, and publishing to the destinations you connect. To process payments via Stripe. To communicate essential account and billing notices.

We share data with the following processors strictly to provide the service: OpenRouter (AI content generation), Stripe (payment processing), and your own connected publishing destinations (e.g. WordPress). We do not sell your data.

We retain account and website data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; we will delete it within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Publishing credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. All traffic to smartseo.cc is served over HTTPS.
